SugarCRM closed $14.5 million in Series D funding from original investors Draper Fisher Jurvetson, New Enterprise Associates and Walden International.

SugarCRM started as open source project on Sourceforge and still maintains a fully open source CRM software . Revenues are generated from professional editions and through support. SugarCRM has received total funding to date of approx. $41 million.
