Ron Paul for President 2008

November 1st, 2007

I think Ron Paul is the longest shot for president in 2008, he’s basically unelectable. However, if there was ever a period in American history where the unelectable has a chance, it’s this upcoming election.

Following the Bush administration’s near flawless drive to bring the nation and world straight down deep into the shitter, the American people are ready for a change unlike any change they’ve ever had or needed.

Clinton - Dropped healthcare ball in the late 90’s. Chokes when things get tough, now laughs forcibly. Hardlined polished politician & attorney.
Obama - Great leadership and well spoken but has nothing to say.
Edwards - Panderer and flatterer, all form and charisma but no substance.
Giuliani - Too much hardline tough talk like Bush, pro attorney police state.
Thompson - Actor and follower.
McCain - Hotheaded hardliner and Out of touch.

My guess is that American’s don’t want to see their country continue it’s downward spiral. They want a candidate that’s smart, honest, upfront and tells us like it is in plain English without yanking our friggin chain with smooth politician double talk.

Ron Paul blurs the line between Democrats and Republicans and doesn’t pander to special interest groups, he’s a long shot but I think the US is ready for it.
